A LONG JOURNEY WITH THOUSANDS OF HAPPY GUESTS
The location of our first vacation rental started out as a family homestead in Rincón, Puerto Rico during the 1930’s. The original home was replaced by a larger house with several bedrooms and a wraparound terrace for Rincón visitors in the 1970’s. It was later replaced with a multi level larger concrete home with a rooftop terrace, pool and hot tub. Azalea Beach House was acquired in 2018, joined by Azalea Beach Condo a year later.
Rincón, Puerto Rico is a small town with a long and interesting history. Founded in 1770, it began as a sugar cane and fishing town. In the 1960’s, it’s most valuable asset, the most perfect surf breaks in the Caribbean, was discovered. Located on the shore at the foot of the rainforest mountain known as El Yunque, Rio Grande was founded in 1840. It has the largest navigable river in Puerto Rico. Starting out as an agricultural center, today it’s well known for the Caribbean National Forest and its awesome beaches. A nearby PGA golf resorts makes Río Grande a well-known destination. Famous nearby Luquillo Beach and La Pared surf break attracts beach lovers from all over the world.
